Providence High School students won a total of 33 regional writing awards from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. They were honored at a ceremony at Spirit Square on February 8, 2020. The five Gold Key winners are currently competing in the national competition in New York City. Winners will be announced in March.

Bhavana won 5th place for her 2019 Design Portfolio submission to the National Scholastic Press Association. She was honored at an awards ceremony at the National Convention in November. Natalie Thulien, a PHS graduate, won an Honorable Mention for her spread design.
